Looks like there is enough interest to get another run going off of these bad boys. not sure how many members here are on the HML (I recognize quite a few) and or have not seen the thread so I wanted to post it on here so those not aware of this run can become part of it if they so wish. In the last year or so there have been three runs of skid guards by HML Members for H1s and two of those runs by HummerDan (this run being the second run) so who knows when there will be a next run of these. As you can see HummerInvestmentsInc and I are taking part in this run.

Fellas the prices are as follows:

Angle Guard: $1,600 plus shipping

Step guard: $1,740 plus shipping

I accept check and paypal. A minimum $250 deposit to get started and the balance when they are ready to ship (minimum 4-6 weeks).

Shipping is anywhere from $100- $300 depending where you are located. I usually get pretty good rates. Shipping out of Los Angeles.

It looks like this project will get going pretty soon.

Here is the list of interested members:

1. 427Aggie - Angle
2. 427Aggie - Angle
3. only_zeek - Step
4. HummerInvestments - Step
5. Expendable - Angle
6. bengtutt - Step
7. Bulvot - Step
8. kitty - Step
9. kitty - Step
10. kitty - Step

Would be best to go on the HML and contact HummerDan through the thread and or PM

if you don't have an account you will need to make one to view the thread and to contact HummerDan.

As you can see on the step guard, some members elect to put grip tape on the step.

Also for both Skid Guards some members put caulk between the rocker and the body to prevent water, debris, etc. getting caught in there.

Real happy to hear that HummerDan is gearing up for another run of these. These RPP's are the toughest, strongest, most durable pieces of armor (I do think they actually might be bullet proof) I could ever imagine. The peace of mind from knowing that the occasional "oops" remains just an "oops" and not a "CRUNCH!!" is pretty cool.

I actually even have a spare set in storage. Best investment you can make to protect the tub of your H1. Personally I don't like the step set. I ordered a set and then traded them back to Dan for a standard angled set.

I don't like the step either, the standard triangle would be stronger [from a load bearing perspective]. It's the first thing I purchased for my truck and it saved my doors and rockers several times over.

I am really happy that he is too. Especially since there isn't much parking in the local parking lots (I fear i will get more damage to my doors from other cars than off roading) and these will protect my doors short of lifted trucks.

I don't like the step since I would hardly use it unless access to the roof. and it doesn't look as nice. the angle guards flow with the lines of the Hummer.

Ever since I've seen Billy's rockers on RonB's truck (before he switched to HummerDan's step guards last time I checked.) back in 2005 or so I knew I wanted this style of RPP.
