Hwy 87 Beach Run

I remember when a bunch of Hummers did this run a long time and I have wanted to do this for a while. My friends a I decided to go today. I think we did about 1/4 of the road before we turned around and went back. It is very scenic trip and not very technical but it was still a lot of fun. I also hit a few flexes. I would love to get a bunch Hummers together and do a complete run of the abandoned road.

I used to run around the zoo all the time in my old jeep when I was going to college but I never tried Hwy 87.
Looks like a great time.

I did the complete run from High Island to Sea Rim last weekend. Weather was perfect and the tide was low (do not drive past the old fence as it's part of the wildlife refuge).

I had a lot of fun and would love to do it again!
