I had an '04 H2 that I traded in about a year and a half ago. I've deeply regretted that decision ever since. I just got an '03 tonight. Oh, man - there is definitely nothing else that compares to the driving experience of the H2. I wish I could afford a 2008/9.

Thanks. I bought it as-traded. I got a great deal on it. I literally took the truck off the mechanic. The body and interior are super clean but it needs some mechanical stuff.

So, wish list:
A big can of "Chrome Be-Gone"
Rebuild the dash (speedo doesn't work, this will be the second one I've done)
Lower ball joints
Change manifold gaskets
Brakes
Replace a few burnt out bulbs in the marker lights

T-case makes a loud bang when going into 4-Lo, so that will have to be addressed ASAP.

All stuff I'm comfortable doing.

I drove it to work today and it drives fine.

Haha, nerfs are staying. This is my new daily driver. I have an SAS H3 in the works, so that's the off-road rig. I love this thing so much I might even sell my T. :holymoly

As I was getting ready to leave the dealer, a random customer was making anti-HUMMER remarks at me and harassing the sales staff. WTF? It wasn't like he rode his pedal bike there. He was in a Grand Cherokee.

They are the LE wheels. Think they were on 06-07.

And congrats on the 2. When going into to 4lo, there is a loud bang. That is normal unless you have something else going on.

Yeah, I brain dumped on that--I used to know what year the LE wheels were, but now I have a hard time remembering what year we're in.

You of all people should have known that. Was looking for a set at one point. Glad I didn't find them. On my third set of wheels. Still have a spare set when the tires go on. Cali rocks are not very forgiving

Thanks!. Let me rephrase my earlier comment - When going into 4Lo there is a bang so loud that everyone in a 5-mile radius is amazed that it is still moving and not on fire. Lol. That's when pushing the button while stopped or ever so slightly rolling.

Also, sometimes the t-case neutral light comes on while driving forward, press the 4-Hi button and it goes out. I'm guessing the encoder motor is bad and has been ignored for a long time, causing internal damage to the t-case.

I still love it.

I knew the wheels were later ones but didn't know they were LE wheels. Thanks! My father-in-law will get a kick out of that. He had an LE and constantly talks about how nice it was and how he wishes he never sold it.
