Condolences, my Dad passed several years ago and all his tools from restoring British cars have a place of honor in my shop. Shiny tools were not his style. I have old screw drivers with wood handles duct taped together, but his attention to detail of the cars was awesome.
I can't help but get that warm feeling of his presence when I use some of the specialty tools he made and think about the hours he spent using them.
Save the things he used the most.

My condolences to you and your family.

That is a crap ton of engine block!! How many of them are in good working order? Or can be re-built.

How cool. Sorry for your loss Bebe but what a cool trip down memory lane this must be for you. Going through all of this stuff and reliving the memories of your dad brought forward by rediscovering all of this old stuff that he loved so much. While I am sure there are sad moments I bet you are doing a lot of smiling while you discover things and re-live old memories.
