Well, I wanted to just stop by here and show ya guys my replacement to the H3. It was tough letting go of it and when I did I made a promise to the family I would buy a Jeep XJ to build so we could still run the trails. So back in January I finally found a Jeep only paid 2,000 for it.

Then I had to clean the crap out of it because it smelled like dog.

So I tore out the interior and started cleaning. Re-covered the headliner. Took the seats apart and washed the covers, and scrubbed all metal, plastic, heater box, etc...

Look at all this hair... I think a couple of dogs blew up in here.

Nice and clean

Nice rig for a great price. Who cares what you drive - if you like wheeling, keep wheeling. You are always welcome here.

Got it all installed.

Here's the front suspension.

Then I had issues with clearance so I had to get cut out flares. These were a PITA it took me about 16 hours to fully complete. There was quite a bit of modding to get it done, but well worth it.

Here's the instal link in another forum I did. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1097831

Next month comes new gears, winch, winch bumper, rock sliders, rear tire carrier, and rocker panel armor along with a fuel tank skid.

Right now I've only got 5,500 invested and am really enjoying it. We took it on our first outing the other day up to Mt.St Helens. I can't wait till its complete.

Don't just stop in every now and then. You have a home here. Keep us posted on your build progress and then come on out wheeling with us again.
