A cop in Sacramento tackles a guy fleeing on a stolen bicycle. There is NO way the cop didn't get bruised and beat up from this, and yet he did it anyways. Kudos!

I think he was either undercover or off duty. I thought I saw a gun in his belt as they started to wrestle the guy to the ground

The video is on police one.. That appears to be a cell phone case.. Listening to him talking I honestly believe he was a bystander. It is nice for him to help out.. Me on the other hand I had to fight a guy just a few days ago over a gun.. Fought for 4 minutes until my back up arrived. I just happen to drive up as he was dragging his babies momma and her mother out the house beating the hell out of them several neighbors outside assisted in flagging other officers down but no one dove in. That guy needs an award.

I definitely applaud the guy who jumped in to help but I can't help but be worried that someone trying to help in a situation like this might get mistaken for a bad guy

In this situation it's hard to get that mixed up, but in other I 100% agree! Everything happens so fast!

Nawww I don't know, prolly more stupidity lol. I did the same as that guy, blindside then as I was commencing to monkey stomp his @$$ for putting his hands on two women they yell he has a gun. We'll I guess you can figure how THAT goes. My car video is phenomenal.. As officers we watch each other's videos to determine if something could always be done better to avoid these situations but anyone who watches the video and hears the cries for help would of done the same thing....
