Im currently building myself a set of limb raisers. Im almost finished, i just have to find a way to mount them to my brushguard. So those of you who have them, can you post up pics of how you attached them to your brushguards. Please and thanks.

Are you mounting to roof rack? The simplest, and non permanent way, is one of those metal straps that come with rubber lining. They usually come in sizes for different tube diameters. Your best source for parts is usual boat supply stores. A more permanent setup up is to drill a hole and tap a thread to match a screw with a loop on the end. That can be done if the wall thickness is enough to be tapped. If its too thin, then you have to drill right through to the other side and secured with a nut.

Sorry I don't have pics, but I'll try to get some when I get back to my laptop. Another great source for examples is on the expedition portal forum.

You should be able to find one in the right size if you look around.

When you get a cable tensioner, get one in this style. They don't let stuff get caught up in it like the cheaper ones below.

You can always upgrade later on.

If you can get this style swage for the cable ends. They even make cable tensioners, with a swage included on one end like the one below.

It took me over a week to gather up the right parts from different hardware and boat supply stores. Nowadays you can just get the stuff online if your local stores don't carry it. m
