What do you all think about these rigs showing up on SEMA and elsewhere fully coated with line X -- good idea? Seems interesting.

I think its an awesome idea. Only problem is how much it would cost to have a whole rig done. I wish I could spray it myself and I would have it on everything!

I'd be concerned about the weight. The typical bed liner is 125 to 150 lbs. The area on the outside of a vehicle is a lot more than the inside of the bed.

There is an old Scout and Jeep here in my neck of thewoods that were sprayed with black bed liner a couple of years ago.

Let's just say, this good 'ol Texas sun and 100+ summer temps have not beenkind to thier finishes.

Maybe they did not have that UV protectorant added......who knows.......butthey both look horrible now.

No ****?! Man that looked awesome when it was fresh.

Yeah, pretty disappointing. The black on my grill still looks great! But the tops of the front fender flares are bleached out and the sides all have changed colors slightly. It looked really good when I first got it and was pleased that I didn't go with black. Now I wish I would have gone with black or not at all.
