Racism and ignorance exists on many levels. Mayweather is just reminding us of that.

I hope that this hot start Lin has had equates to a prosperous career, but as soon as Carmello and Stoudamire are back, I don't see him really fitting into the offense in NY anymore. Hope I'm wrong -- he's the kind of player that everyone loves to see play -- the Rudy Rutteger of the NBA!

I believe its up to Carmelo if lin will fit. I feel lins ppg will go down but if Carmelo and contribute to the team game and not one on one crap lin will do just fine.

I don't believe he is one of those one season wonder guys though. I think his IQ (harvard grad) helps him on the floor and I believe he is talented. I gotta check the video but people said he schooled John wall a while back. He just needs to mesh with a team, hopefully he can with melo

I agree that he's a smart guy. You can tell on the court that he's got his mind in the game. I really hope he continues to do well. Personally, I don't like the NBA draft all that much. It's an over-hyped money bath for all the big names in Div I ball. Guys like Lin prove you don't have to play for UNC, Duke, etc to be a great basketball player.

I don't care much for the NBA game but Lin is a great story aka, Tebow, Warner et al. You just have to pull for underdogs and giant killers. He has made me pat attention to the NBA this season.

Lin has certainly been fun to watch and I agree it will be interesting when Anthony comes back. D'Antoni will have the opportunity to extend his time with the Knicks, or cut it short.
