Moab Black Sheep Week - April 8-14, 2012 Pictures and Videos

[3Hummers]

Lockhart Basin, Nice trail. Only about 1 mile of it is challenging. Some of the larger rocks appear to have been moved out of the way as the trail was certainly much more passable than the last time we ran it. Still a fun trail and I think everyone on that run would agree that it is still a fun trail to tackle.

We decided to run Cliffhanger as we had heard it was quite challenging. Here are pics as they goes down:

But once we got down Tbone noticed we had a coolant leak. Well some how the cap for it fell off and its not worth to keep trying. So here we are climbing back out:

But after some valiant efforts, and BTMing and TT4ing, we decided to try to come in the same way the Jeeps came in:

And after a few of these hard tries we finally made it.

We made it!

And after finding teh cap for the coolant, we met up with Dave and Matt and they helped us get back up and running by helping us fix out motor mount:

And after fixing the motor mount, Dave suggested we go run Moab Rim and we eagerly decided to run with them.

First obstacle: Devils Crack

We where next up on Devils crack, Moab Rim:

And then we final go to the Z steps or the Z turn or whatever its called:wink::

Dave was up first:

And he did make it up, but I mostly got video of it that will come up soon!

I gave it a try but Dave noticed that my steering was out of wack so we decided to just head home:

And then after Moab Rim, it was time to replace the upper and lower ball joints. Thank You Matt and Dave for all the help!
