Yea, with roof rack you will lose 1-2 mpg.
When my h2 was brand new we took a trip to NY and back, with roof rack and front over the hood bar I got 10-12 mpg average.

I can telt you this my average on my 04 H2 is between 12 and 16 it just depens on ones foot and terrian. and oddly enough it really likes 90!! ran like top for a cuople week after a short run down the hiway. don't recomment it as i was beging escorted by the state troppers at the time can't say where or why other then it was nerve racking as hell and I really don't care to do it again under the same cerustances.

2008 H2. 15 to 16mpg when driving on flat ground with the tach staying under 2000rpm. So that is about 58mph.

last fill up I calculated 12.4 MPG and the tank before that was 11.5 MPG. It just depends on how I drive and how much freeway/street driving. Thats with the rancho lift, 35's, dual spares, and a somewhat heavy right foot. I think it would be a tad higher with the PCM tune...which will be done eventually.

Throw that Doc on now! Its pretty straight forward and makes a nice difference.

I was talking to craig last weekend on the John Bull run about the air doc and he said initially it ran worse but once the computer adjusted itself to the added air flow (took about a day) the improvement over stock was noticeable. I am going to NY for a week to visit family and may ship the PCM in so I dont have any down time with the truck. I want to keep the same PCM to avoid case relearns and all that other crap.

I got around 20 with the non-OD manual trans if I set the pace (65MPH). If Alex and/or Jerry set the pace, mileage drops to around 14 :whaa:

Just had my best tank yet. 17.4 mpg!! That is with a 50/50 split of highway and city driving and babying it the whole time.

Wtf! I got 11.7 last tank...is there something wrong mechanically with my motor or is it just the way I drive and what I have on it?
