Name that Leak!

HUMMER H2
OK… I start up the H2 step on the brake, turn the wheel and start to back out of my Driveway. Next I hear terrible screeching sound so I pull back up the Driveway and start to look for clues. The 1st clue … a big puddle of PS fluid!! OK I pop open the Hood and see the leak (see below picture) It looks like there is a gasket under the 4 screws shown in the picture.
So my questions are what is it and will tightening the bolts down possible fix ... maybe a new gasket??

There is an upper seal kit that is serviceable. It isn't that expensive of a fix

Thats what applies the hydraulic power steering to the steering gear box which turns your wheels. There is a gasket there. also #18 is a check valve. Suprised that blew. Was there anything binding up/preventing your front wheels from turning?

MUD, nothing preventing my front wheels from turning that I am aware of. I did do some light wheeling recently and may or may not have climbed to the top of a rather large boulder
Maybe I blew it then?
Also, what did you mean when you said:

Can you tell from the picture that something blew?
