Hey all. Just agreed to buy an H1 Wagon in NC and I need to transport it to Texas. Quick!
Need someone that is reliable and insured. It wouldn't hurt to have it less expensive.
Thanks All....

Per my PM might check with the closest exotic or Internet car dealer to you. Whoever they use will have been vetted by them already. Might also check with a couple of the ig online dealers like Eurocar or DC Motors and see who they use.

Will Haul It, Russel Sandborn is the company/guy we used to get my wife's car from Utah to Florida a couple months ago. I believe they contracted a transport to do the work, but it ran just a tad over $900 for that trip--and worth every penny. The transport driver called thru-out his trip to let us know things were going well and how far out he was. He was very courteous and addressed our requests for how the car was handled on the hauler. Great experience, just Google the name Will Haul It and their site will come up.
Hope this helps and you get your new hot rod soon!

Crank,
The most time-consuming part of our out-of-state transaction was lining up a reputable auto transport from PA to AZ. We finally decided on "Diesel Express Car Transport" (the owner/driver Gabriel, is honest, dependable, on-time and super-careful/responsible), you can contact him at dieselexpress08@yahoo.com or (602) 725-1612).

I highly recommend him. At least call him & get another quote for comparison purposes. Gabrielle kept in constant cell contact with us from the time he left PA up to the time he arrived in Tucson with our H3 CE exactly at his estimated arrival time. If you call him directly & arrange your own transport, you will save between $125 -200 (because you won't have to pay a third-party transport brokerage service to arrange the transport.

This thread gave me an idea. We should start a sticky with a database of transport companies all around the US.

Great! Good info!
One way or another I'm going to get beast here. I wouldn't mode driving it here except being afraid it will breakdown somewhere along the way. Then what? I'm pretty much screwed. 1236 miles anything can go wrong.

H1s don't break down that easily. They are not electronically plagued like the 2s and 3s. All mechanical issues could be mostly resolved at any truck stop.

Dude--if you've got a chance to drive it home, do it! I've got some really good buddies that would make a 1200 mile road trip in an H1 with me in a minute, and it doesn't hurt a bit they're extremely mechanically inclined and a blast to hang with. That's an experience of a lifetime. I made an 800 mile round trip with my best good buddy earlier this year to get the HUMMER signs and wouldn't trade a minute of it........

I drive the 1700 mile round trip to Moab twice a year. I do know the condition of the truck before I start and I am carrying tools and spare parts on the trip.

You could definitely drive it. If you want to ship it, even cheaply, it will still cost $600 to $800 probably. Plus you'd lose out on the fun and adventure of driving it like twinmill recommended. I've shipped on before (from Boston to CA) and had a good experience with a1autotransport.com, but it's always suggested that you compare prices a little before making a decision. Good luck.

Yeah, you brought up a REALLY old thread. Not even sure what happened to that twinmill dude, some say he's in a Mexican prison. 3HUMMER's, not so much, turns out he's owned Prius number 1 since they were built and has been scamming this site trying to convert owners like a Jesus freak at a carnival. As for that Bigunit dude, the other HUMMER guys debunked THAT myth and now his new screen name is Tiny Tim.

Come on man, think before you click---------:giggle:
