Chad I hope all turns out ok and I'm sorry caseys sense of humor is not as good as he thinks it is...
I'm not mad at what happened. Stuff happens and Learn from it. Maybe today I'll put it together since it's been upside down for a bit and it will start right up!
Go get some stuff called "No-Ox". It comes in a small tooth-paste like tube, and you can find it in the electrical aisle of most hardware stores. Its basically a corrosion inhibitor and you can brush a small amount on the spades of the plugs, before you plug the harness back on (don't go crazy with it...use it sparingly). It will dissolve the outer layer of oxidation that forms on bare copper, and return the full conductive properties to the spade. No-ox is one of those miracle products (like PB blaster, or Seafoam) and I've used it for many years on electrical connections.
Many H3 owners complain about weird electronic issues. I suspect that many of these gremlins may be due to this microscopic oxidation that forms on connectors and circuit boards. For $6.99...its worth a try.
Glad to hear it. It never hurts to earn HUMMER parts hoarder status. It appears that you are well on your way. [emoji12] Welcome to a very exclusive but proud club!yea i plan on holding on to it for at least a while or until the wife forgets about it!! she was saying since its working i need to send it back, but i told her i need to hold on to it until i am sure everything is good.
