Need help with G2 LED brackets

Hello,

I'd like to mount a curved 300W LED bar on my H3 and I need mounting brackets (G2 or similar).

Problem is: I live in Germany and those brackets are sold only in the US. With shipping I had to spend at least 150$ for the two pieces of sheet iron.

If someone has these brackets: Could you please place a sheet of paper on one of them, draw the outline, the holes an the bending lines, scan this drawing and PM it to me?

Thank you in advance

Boe, I have those brackets but they are already installed. The best I can do for you is to take a bunch of close up pictures.... if this would help let me know and ill do so.

That would be great, thank you!

Could you please place a ruler beside the bracket?

Of course I will fab them myself and it helps to have at least a basic shape before.

We have a little company here who produce stainless steel parts, they sure will have some sheets in the trash box...

Thank you in advance!

If it was me, I'd just take some cardboard and mock up something that I liked and that positioned the light bar where I wanted it. It's just a flat piece, with 2 bends, and a few holes (of course, the G2 also have the laser cut "G2", but...). If I hadn't gotten a good deal on a set of used G2 mounts, I would have just done my own design; no need for an exact G2 template/replica. Just my 2 cents.

You're right, but having a basic shape and measures make things go a bit faster.

I will definately not make an exact copy because I don't like that upper part of the G2's do not hide completely behind the door.

And I actually mounted mine about 1/2" lower than they are supposed to be mounted; they still extend a bit above the door/rubber. But my pic gives a pretty good approximation of the basic shape you're looking for.
