H3 rock sliders.jpgH3 Rock Sliders2.jpgBought these off of Ebay from autopartsurplus here in Columbus, OH. Went down and picked them up in person and saved shipping. Has about 7 left still in the sealed boxes. I picked these up because of price and they should work great for my needs. The H3 is my wife's daily driver so I don't plan on getting to crazy on the trail. They seem heavy duty enough, maybe 45lbs a piece and took about 45 min to install myself, I chased the threads on all the holes and the antiseized bolts went in without a hitch. The modding process continues, I may have to work extra hard on picking up aluminum cans so I can afford more stuff.:) UCP is next.

Good price, no doubt but looking at them on the eBay store I'm not sure about their durability. Are they hollow tubes? Have fun with the mods I know I'm hooked, now just need some money too. Haha they do look good!

They are hollow but thick wall tubing, gusseted with 4-1/4 steel mounting plates/8bolts , Made in Canada as a GM Hummer Part. The double bar design gives plenty coverage IMO. I suppose a person could take some 3/16 plate and weld between the tubes, but the round tubes should be easy to slide over most obstacles. At least i hope so. All in all they seem pretty stout, I was surprised how heavy they were when I took them out of the box.

The guy I talked to was Gordon, great guy. Has a few Hummer parts in the inventory but nothing I needed. I know you'll like them, No problem with the fit. One note a fine tooth ratchet came in handy or an air ratchet if you have one. Good luck
