Not sure I buy the whole "factory option" story but, it looks to be a nice rig. If anything...its probably an aftermarket production-built conversion, much like a Choo-Choo van or Moody 4x4 van. I don't really think its valuable as a collector piece but, the 3/4-ton axles are a start of a kick-ass rig. A small lift, winch-bumper, and Cummins 4BT would really make this rig pop. Rust free...pre-engineered pop-up...4x4...very cool.
I think the coolest thing about it, is that the drivers cabin is open to the rest of the camper, like a real RV and not a pick-up truck camper.
