Old dude with a new (to me) H2. Parts?

Just purchased a 09' H2 LUX edition in remarkable condition and plan on bringing it down here to Cabo soon. Though it runs freakishly smooth for 180,000mi on the clock, I'm sure there are specific parts/items I should be paying special attention to. Before I take the 1000+ mile journey south, are there certain items I should "collect" before I'm no longer stateside? It's definitely not as easy acquiring unique items down here as it is back home. I know the vehicle is discontinued and parts are hard to come by so I'd like to make a list of parts to bring down for future needs. Ordering and shipping things down here is always an option, however it will incur a 16% IVA fee (import tax) and a 15% shipping fee based on it's retail price. For example a $100 item will cost $131 after shipping, that adds up quickly... hence the shopping list while I'm home.

Thanks in advance! And if anyone swings down this direction hit me up for some good Cabo advice!!

Welcome and congrats on the H2. It has been awhile since I have owned an H2 so not sure where the best parts sources are.

Thanks!

What was the part you found yourself replacing the most?

Besides the "go juice" in the tank.

I'd go through the suspension and steering to check the condition of the various bushing, joints, etc. Do you have service records with it? 50% chance, IMO, that many of the regular service items like belts, bushings, motor mounts, etc. were replaced in that time.

I have service records going back a little over 5 years. I will have about a week to give it a good inspection before I point it south.
