One Man Hood Lift?

Does anyone have a good way of lifting the hood on your H1 by yourself? When I try lifting mine, it gets somewhat twisted and sooner or later I'm going to snap something.
Possibly use a rope or some other trick?

i lift mine from the drivers side . you might try lifting with one arm extended towards the center of the hood and the other in the corner .

Joe if you put the side of the palm of your hand in the crack under the lower brush guard before opening hood plaque and to the right of the hood latch you push in and up and the hood should go right up. I can do it that way left or right handed/from either side of the truck.

And if none of those work for you, RubberDuck has a really good hood lift that you could probably lift the hood with 2 fingers

I have had the rd lift for many moons...it is awesome. When the shock is new you have to actually slow the hood from catapulting open! I use it to flick boogers on jeeps

I don't know..... You might be right about that Wheaties thing. Time to swap out the Cheerios!
