Opinions on trail trash bags

After going on a few rides lately in my new home I've noticed a decent amount of trail trash. I take a small trash bag with me in my truck for candy wrappers and coke bottles but I've been thinking about a way to have a bag on the exterior anyone can use. I've seen a few jeeps with the bag on the spare tire but they kept chains or straps in them.

I guess my first question is, are those useable for my intended purpose? If so what is a good brand that will hold to the abuse and elements?

it wraps around the spare. props to you for keeping the trails cleaner then you found them.

If any so cal guys going to KOH bring garbage bags!!! Clean up out there because the govt wants to shut it down if they can. Dont give them an excuse...

It's easy enough to track someone, when they don't want to be found.... Don't make it ridiculously easy, by leaving the smallest piece of tash.

Thanks 06h3 I'll check that out, that us exactly what I'm afraid of happening here. I've seen it happen to trails when I lived in Louisiana as well.

Well after using ramrods trasharoo extensively both when he was looking and when he wasn't last year at Tahuya :giggle::cheers: I had to get one. They certainly are convenient on the trails and for camping and certainly aid the tread lightly rules

I have to say the Trasharoo is a great investment, great spot to store a tow rope (top zippered pocket) and all of your garbage in the main big pouch.

One word of advise, still bring the big black garbage bags to actually put your garbage into, helps with keeping your Trasharoo clean and it's much easier to empty out at the end of the trip

Well my trasharoo is ordered! Ramrod I will still have a roll of black trash bags inside the rear hatch ready for use. How do you clean your trasharoo? I will try to avoid it getting messy trash but I'm sure there will be a coke can or something with a small bit of liquid thrown into it at some point

I am sure that there are trash can liners that will fit the trasharoo. I usually carry contractor trash bags but I like the trasharoo.

You can just cold wash it in the washing machine if it gets bad. But if you use the bags inside you won't have much of an issue

Yes the trasharoo is great for trash , dirty/wet/muddy clothes and anything you don't want inside of your rig . Even if you don't get a Trasharoo you should try attending the Trasharoo Toys For Tots toy drive this year .

Trasharoo came in today! Can't wait to get this thing mounted, but no reason to until next weekend!

Mine came in handy this weekend. I has a few large but light weight item to pack while moving, so I just tossed them in the Trasharoo and saved a tone of space for more important things under the canopy!
