Yeppers, I'll be on my way tomorrow. My understanding is that is we take the actual trail out a little ways there's a clearing that would be good for us to setup a group site at.

Perfect, we are only 2 hours away! We have a few stops to make along the way and should be there around 5-5:30!!!

Looking forward to meeting you all

We wont be there until late. I am all loaded up, just waiting on my buddy. Coming from Hillsboro is a bitch, there is so much traffic this time of night.

Ah man, I feel your pain. I've been in your traffic before and it's killer. Drive safely! See y'all soon!

Ok I received info from the last attendee today, so I updated and emailed the final list to everybody. Looks like we're going to have at least 8 trucks there this weekend! That's a great turnout if everyone makes it ok. See you all there!

I really wish I could, but I've got a lot of extra training going on at work recently so my free time had been severely cut for probably the rest of this year. I'm not sure where this summer/year is going, but it seems to just be evaporating away! Can't wait to see the pics and hear all about it though!

Trailrun Pre-Report

Hey Scars! Man, it's great to hear from you! I was wondering where you'd gone off to. Sorry you missed out on meeting and wheeling with a super group of (new) hummer pals to run with. What a fantastic adventure! Wish you could have made it. I got back late last night, but sure wish I could have camped with them (Ugh. Had to work today). But I spent as much time with them as possible at the campsite while they were setting up tents and grills, the campfire, cooking the food, having big fun, etc... They begged me to stay, but I was the party pooper and had to leave at dusk before the campground gate closed. I promised everyone that I would camp on our next trip though, which we are planning soon before the rain hits.

There were 5 trucks in total running the trails -- 4 H3s and 1 H3T -- and when we got back to the staging area, 2 more H3s were there (SuperBuickGuy and taylorblake/friend). I will start a new thread and post my pics ASAP today. It was a very decent run, with some challenges, a few difficult, gnarly spots, and of course beautiful scenery. We even found a little muddy puddle to play in. But luckily nobody's truck suffered any damage, and at the end of the day we all were exhausted, hot, dirty, but very happy. So now my truck is proudly sporting the dirty evidence in my driveway. :)

I just want to say thanks to ABNTROOP, who did an outstanding job leading us down the trails. Of course he will probably to give the 'official' trail report when he gets back and finds time to post up his pics. And thanks to everyone! It was a real pleasure meeting and wheeling with you all. I hope to wheel with you again soon!

So stay tuned!

Got home safe last night, unpacked quick n dirty, and I'm stumbling around half asleep this morning. Off to work I go, I'll post up a wrap up this evening. Great trip! Seemed like a good time was had by all, no breakages, but rigs were properly made filthy, and new friends were made! Great group! It was a pleasure meeting all of you! Thank you for being patient as we navigated through Tahuya, nice driving! Nice spotting! Wish we were all still out there. Eff work!

Josh, I'm thanking you in the above post for dragging MY trailer home with you ;)
