Power Inverter

Wondering how many of you have inverters in your 3s? If so, what have you found to be the best mounting spot, and what did you find to be the easiest way to get to the battery?

I have a 400 w up front mounted to the rear of the center console and a 1200 or 1500 w in the rear cubby. I ran 4ga back to the rear for that inverter. I ran the cable from the battery down to the frame then back to the rear door and came in through one of the rubber grommets back there

I've never really had a need for an inverter so I just have a small 200 or 400 amp (can't remember which) that plugs into the 12v outlets.

i have one. i have an anderson quick disconnect on my winch mount. i have the quick disconnect on jumper cables and a power inverter, either of which i can hook up when needed

I wouldn't mind having a small one up front, but I found a 1500 watt in my garage that I forgot I had, so I'm interested mounting it in back. Does it get hot in the Cubby, EvlDave?
