Proposed SoCal Event - Bishop

Okay gang, I am prepping for a Bishop run August 11th and 12th. I will be driving up on the 9th and prerunning on the 10th.

I still have a lot of work to do to make sure we have a safe and fun trip. It has been four years since I have been on the trails so I will be reaching out to my buddies up there to verify the trails are open.

The initial plan is to run Silver Creek/Wyman Canyons on Friday and Wheeler Ridge Saturday. I would like to have an experienced driver prerun with me on Thursday.

Once I get trails confirmed, I will post a new thread.

I put in my reservations at La Quinta for August 9-13. This is happening!

Occasionally members will camp. There are many great places to pitch a tent and enjoy the outdoors. For me, I have done enough camping in the Sierras. I need my cushy bed and hot shower.

Very very tempting..... For a while, the Bishop trips have been in somewhat of a schedule conflict with Moab so I am going to see about making this one.
