06h3 I didn't get a chance to test out the 1.5" spacer on oem wheel today. I will do my best to test it tomorrow. My family went to Ohio so I don't have much else to do anyways. I changed the oil and cleaned the truck inside and out. It must have been a gloomy day when I took the original pictures because it looked way better to me today. I tried to find a stock h3 to park next to and get a picture but no luck this time.

If you want to have no spacers the offset is -12 I have 17x9 and have no troubles it is close though
thanks. Im trying to help 06h3 find out how big of a spacer he will need since he is going to run the stock wheels with his lift
Anyone else with the rancho or tuff country lift, what ride height are you at in the front from fender to center of the wheel? I think rancho recommends 26-26.5" but am curious what people are actually running.

well I just test fit the oem wheel on the rancho lift with a 1 inch spacer. The tire mounted on the wheel is 265/75/16 so youll have to factor in the extra width of the 35s you are probably going to run on the oem wheels.
these are all with the oem wheel mounted. you can see theres about 1/4 inch space
these are from mine with 5" backspacing 18x9 rockstars and 1 inch spacer
finally had a chance to cut down those ridiculous posts on the rockstar wheels that make the center cap stick out about two inches

According to his old thread when get got the wheels/tires they are 325/65R18 which equals out to a 34.8" x 13".
My question is, any plans for different wheels and tires for summer?
yes there 325/65r18 which is essentially a slightly wider 35 than most people run. I'll more than likely leave the duratracs on year round for now. I dont think I can bring myself to spend another large chunk of change on tires right now. I finally found an H3 to take a picture next to but could only get the back. taking a picture from the front would have meant me standing in the middle of the highway. He/She had 285s

love the stance. that puts that lift vs stock question to rest. it's a monster!
I noticed an interesting difference I have not picked up on before. On those Rancho knuckles the upper a-arm bolt goes in from the outside aiming across the H3 rather than front to back in relation to the vehicle like the OEM does. I guess to allow more clearance from the end of that nasty bolt sticking out at full lock? or maybe to get the angle right?
Just for reference this is with 285 tires, stock knuckles, 23.50 lift torsions, stock wheels not spacers.
That 1/2 inch shown with the 265's and stock wheels may go away fast like you say with 35's and when you air down.

Yours looks like the rear is up level with the front. I have seem several that is not the case. Do the rear Rancho springs settle after some use?

I was going to paint the lift parts orange but didnt want to get too tacky with the orange and black thing. I did paint the shocks from the original red and white rancho look.

Wow... When I first got my 3, I honesty thought I had one of the best looking H3 because I had the ranching lift, but after seeing some of the rigs here, I have realized that I have a lot of work to do. your color scheme just makes it so unique along with all the mods u have done. it is very impressive along with inspiring, you just might have the best looking 3.
That's what's so great about having a community like this. Nearly everytime I login here I get an idea for something new or months down the road I'll remember reading something here and can put it to use. There are still so many things I'd like to get and if I had a workshop I'd really like to start learning some fabrication stuff. Id prefer to do that rather than just buying everything off of the shelf. That's a reason I've been painting alot. It's a quick and cheap way of customizing something
