really bad smell!...

So i know i havent been really active on the forum recently but i do have a question
well let me start by saying that i have been really busy with planning my wedding and have had a lapse in oil changes at about 5,000miles now
and i hadnt been checking it regulaly either... yeah hear it comes.... well after driving for 3 hours today i got home and was smelled something really bad
almost like rotten egg smell coming into the cabin and when i popped the hood was coming from there but hard to pin point where it was exactly coming from.
well I checked my oil and was bone ass dry.. :no: ik how could i do this to my baby! but anyways the question is can no oil make that smell and if not what might it be?....

Bad catalytic converter or a McDonalds egg Mcmuffin for breakfast and a nasty SBD in the cabin. Could be a number of causes but I'd start with an oil change/fill and laying off an egg breakfast to see if the smell comes back. Let us know what you find out.

Bad smell in your truck? Maybe Twinmill spilled some milk in there.

Rotten egg smell could be a bad battery that's overcharging. I've had two of them fail that way in the H3.

Well this morning she wouldn't crank. It wouldn't turn over and I noticed my clock reset so alrock u might be the winner haha

Yeah, when I first read this I thought you'd either bought my last H3 or your wife dumped a gallon of milk in the cargo area.......

At least your battery can be changed, I had to get rid of my 3........and you should have seen the salesman's face when I brought it back a couple weeks after buying it to have them deodorize it and I asked him I thought they needed to inform buyers if someone had died in a vehicle!!

Rotten carpet pad from plugged sunroof drains? Smells awful! You can pull the carpet and lie it upside down in the sun.

I happen to think the worst, most vomit producing, smell in a car is old diff fluid. Probably not the case here....
