Rear wiper no workie

Was reading old threads about this after trying to run down the system. Motor has power and I can trick it into working by manually actuating the schmerkel on the module circuit board (drawing a complete on the actual name for the transformer looking thing with points on it). Older threads say it's probably the module.

gmpartsonline.com calls the motor assembly a module, tonkinonlineparts.com calls the electrical box a module. Is this the likely culprit? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Windshield-Wiper-Control-Module-Rear-fits-03-09-Hummer-H2-/400844056934

Modules are notorious for strange things. They get condensation in them and flip out. When mine went it dumped all the washer fluid from the reservoir on the back window. Some take them apart and silicone them. I replaced it

Must have done something. After taking apart the module, motor and dash switch, now it's working. There was rust on the outside of the motor casing but none inside. I mean, none. Armature still had blue paint on it. The module had no corrosion and no signs of water intrusion. Asked the PO, he says he NEVER used it since he bought it in '06.

A funny note. I've been working on 70s and 80s Yamahas for awhile, and am used to being able to find most parts on ebay or CL. Not so an 11 year-old HUck. Called around the local junkyards looking for the wiper module or motor, no local yards had one, nearest was in Mobile, 60 miles away. That guy wouldn't selll me just the motor, but the whole rear hatch! AND he wanted $950 for it!!!

Now, if I had the start-up capital I'd be driving around the country snapping up all the wrecked HUMMERs I could get my hands on and parting them out for reasonable money. There's not a place like that already, is there?
