How would we determine photos for the calendar? Appointment or (dare I say) contest?

I was just about to say If we wanted to wait until next year to make a calendar you could run a ride of the month type competition, or possibly have some other kind of contest to pick the top 3 H1s, H2s, H3s, and Ts then give them each a page. Or make half of the pages vehicle specific and the rest photos from club events. The possibilities are endless. The possibilities of my netbook however are not endless and I definitely can't run photoshop on here. My good computer is down right now so I can't really help with the design portion.

I like this idea, however how about all club events. I don't like th idea of a competition, too many to pick from.:wink: Also having club event photos will make people even want go more!

what is considered a club event then? How about atleast one month for each region of the club then. That way every portion of the club is represented within the calendar instead of just guys who live near major ORV parks

I need to refraze that, I mean any photos of members getting together or like the pics in your sig. I agree with the "atleast one month for each region of the club" part. Don't want some regions not get represented.:cheers:

I like the idea of taking some photos from H4O events.

Thinking out loud: Each top page could have a collage of sorts, with multiple photos from a particular region's run. Or, each top page could feature a specific model of Hummer. Perhaps the bottom sheet could have a single photo of a truck "ghosted" and the actual calendar squares are on top of it.

Mmmmm - I think more contributions would be made if there were an annual "show up and get your rigs picture taken" with some bathing suite models available, each regional VIP could "plan" it with the bonus round of finding and selecting the models and the pictures could be posted for vote or maybe smaller random production batches so you don't know which rigs you get. There would need to be a medic near by for me at my location --

If I where to buy calendars I'd buy them for other family members or my family members would buy them for me. Maybe we should have each reginal VP or P hold an event to go wheeling and get pictures or pick their pictures from previous events and all would contribute to a calendar?
