Well, I broke down and ordered one as well. The price gap between this one and the safari, in addition to the seemingly good quality of yours, sold me, so fingers crossd!

I'm hoping mine will arrive this week, but I think I've already volunteered my time on the weekend to help someone out with a project . Hopefully I can squeeze in the snorkel install

My son loves that f-150 truck but the sad part is just like the real thing it always has a oil catch pan full of oil under it :giggle:. No but really I think the hardest part for you would be adding the link to the air box and seal it, beside it'll be on your H3 in less then 2 hours.

Grab a 3 1/2" hole saw and a step drill bit because your going to have to make the mount holes a little bigger. Last thing, with the way the snorkel sits in the fender once you drill the 3 1/2" hole angle it pointing towards the windshield (drill battery pointing down the fender) to make the oval shape it needs to sit in. Also a rivet gun for the a pillar mount. Clear as mud?

Just in case anyone want to know how to make this kit work with a K&N intake system just order a Apollo filter cap and you might have a better water tight then the OEM air box.

(NOTE) The one thing I'm not a fan of is where this cap links to the K&N tube, the outlet is 2 1/2" and the tube is 3" all the way to the throttle. I was worried that this might hurt me but with my new setup the intake temp is 4 degrees hotter then the outside temp over 1000 RPM's. Not sure of the difference in the colors of the product but if one of them has a 3" outlet I will get it down the line... Damn OCD.
