looking to replace the shocks on my 08 base model with 53000 miles. its at stock height right now. i know the bilstein 5100's will work with a leveled front, but has anybody tried the bilstein hd's with a mildly leveled front?

I did not have good luck with Bilsteins as both of them failed within about 40,000 miles. I may be in the minority with my feeling towards the Bilsteins but I won't be buying them again.

I didn't like the ride. Sold mine to a friend who like them and I put my Adventure shocks back on. To each their own I suppose.

I'm currently saving to get a set of the RD tuned fox shocks from Brodie.

I installed Fox reserve resovoir shocks frt and rr. Pricey, but they played really nice on the trails last weekend in Northern Mi in the snow. Hill climbs were spot on as long as I could get traction. Following H1's all day meant at least one track was pulling. I'll test them on rocks in August but so far I'm happy with the performance.
