my h3 07, which has had the transmission rebuilt last year, has a shudder at 47 to 51 mph. Has anyone experienced this?

Check the cv joint on front prop shaft

feels almost like a fuel issues, as , when you apply steady pressure to hold speed it goes up and down motor wise. If you lay off the gas it evens out. Or, if you accelerate just above it evens out.

Did they replace the torque converter after rebuild?

yes, I was evacuating from hurricane Mathew last year, and was stuck in 6 hours of bumper to bumper traffic. The transmission line that goes into radiator breached sucking in coolant into the transmission. It trashed the transmission. It was rebuilt including torque convertor.
