Speaking of Gobi Stealth + Lights / Mounting PIAA 2100s

I got some PIAA 2100 series lights for Christmas. I was looking at mounting them on my Stealth, but I'm not sure the best way to do that. There are what appear to be mounting brackets there, but nothing lines up.

The mounts that came with the lights . .

The mounting plates on the rack . .

They definitely aren't even close to lining up . .

Should I be drilling holes in the rack?

I believe this is a really common combination, what have others done?

I wouldnt be drilling holes in the rack, I would drill holes in the brackets if it was me in your situation. If you mess up on a bracket you can get a new one...if you mess up on the rack your **** out of luck haha

I have the 2100's up on the stealth. I remember they don't match up. Drill the brackets. I think I just positioned them and drilled one hole in each, it was a couple years ago.

Yeah, I was leaning that direction.

Does the black bracket bolt down to the aluminum piece? If so, is the problem the bracket hitting that bolt for the wind deflector? You could put a spacer under the aluminum.

I'm just guessing from the pics. Maybe I'm way off. Come on up to the place and we can it done! We could even make custom brackets if needed.

I think the aluminum pieces are meant to be mounts for some other brand of light. I think I'm gonna drill the brackets. I'm down in Tacoma this weekend but I may take you up on the offer of help later if it doesn't work well.

Oh my god do I feel like a moron. I noticed they lined up the other way and didn't even consider rotating the aluminum.

Ahhhh I haven't got that far I'm in the middle of a move and have no real idea on the electrical but I know I'm going to run it down under the drivers side windshield shroud.

When i ran my lights, i run the up the fron pillars under the plastic trim and then all through the firewall boot that was already present, and then to the battery

I think I'm going to make my own harness. The way the ones that come with the lights are wrapped makes them seem too thick to run under the trim piece. Not to mention the length seems to be better suited to bumper installs.
