Spring shackles

I'm going to fabricate some rear spring shackles to get a little more lift in the rear. The stock shackles measure 3.5 inches between bolt holes. Any idea how much distance to add to get 1 inch more lift at the wheel wells? I know my springs are sagging a bit but I'm not ready to replace them yet.

According to Samco fab there shackles are about two inches longer and give 3/4 of an inch.

Not sure if you are fabbing them or paying someone to, but for about $50 you can get Warrior shackles that really do a great job and are very solid. Just google/ebay them!
