Steering wheel light replacement

Does anyone know how to replace these? i have some that are out on the deuce and wanna replace them.

There was a thread on the "old" forum about it. If I remember right, you have to pry the buttons out of the steering wheel. And you can't replace the lights, you have to replace the button. They are apparently integrated. But they just pry out of their spots. And I think there is barely enough wire to work with, too.

From GM there are serviced as an assembly. I have seen threads before of where people have taken apart the switch and you can buy the bulbs at radio shack and solder them in. I have never done it but have replaced the switches

How difficult was it to change the swtiches? Can you describe the process for us please?
