Well my h3 runs awesome after swapping the motor and a few other minor things. For some reason the ac clutch does not engage. I checked/ added pressure but something else is wrong with it. All wiring seems to be correct. It's odd because I used most of the parts off my old motor less sensors and gaskets. It worked before the motor blew.

Hmmm. Have you got power making it to it? Have you physically verified that the unit is engaging? Could be a hi/low cut of switch....

But we'll need more information as to what exactly it is and isn't doing.

The service manual has a list of requirements to get the AC compressor relay to kick on.
Try and run down this list and make sure you're passing all of these.

The air conditioning (A/C) compressor clutch will not engage under the following conditions:

  • The A/C high side line pressure is over 2 413 kPa (350 psi) .
  • Throttle angle is at 100 percent .
  • Engine speed is more than 5,500 RPM .
  • Engine coolant temperature (ECT) is more than 123°C (253°F) .
  • Evaporator core temperature is less than 0°C (32°F) .
  • The powertrain control module (PCM) minimum OFF time to engage the compressor is 7-9 seconds . The scan tool, A/C Relay Command Delay, body control module (BCM) Inputs data list, can validate this.
  • The evaporator temperature sensor is normally closed. The evaporator temperature sensor opens at 0°C (32°F) .

Good luck! Hope you find out what the issue is.
