So did some trail clean up at my buddies hunt club so I'm aloud entry. Well pulled up and everyone had some beater trucks and stuff and of course all day I get why are you using a luxury SUV and off roading. Well just told them its ment to be off the road and showed them all it could do! Was pretty much covered in mud at the end of the day (never had it this nasty) the. I went shopping and a lady was looking at me like I wa an idiot. Is it bad I love it when this happens? Y'all have any stories like this?

Btw this thing is a work horse pulling trees and of course pulling out some other 4x4s!

Ha! all the time!

The best the reaction from people that know me...because we will have a long convo about it at some point in time..
My friends from growing up think this T is too flashy compared to what I used to have, the people I work with think its too rugged and GI Joe'ish for me... not knowing that I don't wear a suit 24/7 and love to get in the woods to hunt, fish, get dirty... you all know what I am talking about I don't have to explain it!

But the people that know me best are not surprised at all, love it and say it suits me perfectly....

Then there are the reactions on the street... my fav to watch for is when the light is red and I am the first car to pull up to the intersection and there is someone walking across in the crosswalk... they usually pick up their pace/jog the rest of the way because of the T... I like to think its because it looks intimidating!

i hate how gm marketed this truck as a flashy mall crawling chrome out luxury suv. when i first went to look at hummers, i went with my friend who had an h1 and it was dirty, but the guy kept trying to sell me a luxury one with all chrome, i told him about 5 or more times i want ZERO chrome, but he couldnt understand that for some reason so i didnt get one at that dealer. i have had lots of people just couldnt believe an h3 offroad though, so far i have impressed everyone who has challenged it.

Same here, I drove up Epp's pass near Salmon La Sac here in WA on Saturday with a Wrangler and two lifted 4 Runners on 33's with less drama and AC :D People were impressed when I could "walk up" some stuff that others had to approach at speed in order to avoid losing momentum. There are a couple mall-crawler Rubicons here at my work that like to park next to my truck, big tires on 20's and never a spot of dirt. Such a waste!

That was the biggest thing I loved about my 3... all the haters :D

Every toolbag in a Jeep sport with 1.11 gears & 27" street tires thinks he's heading to win the hammers... but you have a 3 on 35's that took nothing to put them on, and they think you're wheeling a crown vic...

I really miss that about the 3, it was just fun doing something a bit different than the rest.

I always drive mine to work for a few days after doing a run. I like to find the cleanest car/truck to park next to and slam my doors to get some dust to drift over. Several people have come over to my cube already today to acknowledge the dirtiness of my truck!

I was chased down by a Ferrari F430 this morning, guy was checking it out. That was pretty cool :)

I love that! I had a guy in a Porsche Carerra looking at mine. I just like the fact that a car worth 4 times what mine is was admiring mine. Then he sped off leaving me in the dust lol

I might be the 1st H2 to check in but i have been driving my H2 since Jan 2004 and i can promise you i have hundreds of stories that match your comments and BTW it NEVER gets old!!!

Just love the haters, it makes them madder :woot: I am NOT a get dressed up kinda guy unless there is an occasion but I have been in a suit and tie and climbed out of it all muddy and peoples faces are priceless!!! The cool thing I would say is when my truck is muddy and someone actually compliments me on it and says stuff like that's cool you use it as it should be.

Better yet I never really fit in any parking garages and now that I have the lift and tires on it, i am about 8.5 feet and NOT fitting in anywhere. On top of that i have a hidden anti start device which makes it almost impossible to steal and drives Valet's insane...LOL So the other night I run to AC to play some Holdem and I am still muddy from last week. I pull up to Valet knowing they can't handle the task at hand and have NO idea of what to do with my truck. They walk over and open my door, look up at me and i just say it might be better if I just pull it over there (next to all the SHINY sports cars under the main awning)... the guy rolls his eyes and says I GOT IT... so i say OK, here are the special starting instruction and you can NOT be anywhere unless it clears 9 FT (being safe). I start explaining the starting procedure and see the guy glazing over...LOL So I then had fun and added stupid **** to the procedure until he just breaks down and says, **** it, pull it over there! :yippee So i then said well its running if you would rather move it there to which he did happily because I could tell he was dying to drive it..LOL

So a couple hours later i come out and there is a nice black Vette, a kit car of soem sorts and a few other Audi's and a Porsche in a row, and ME!!! LOL and guess what??? there were people getting pictures with MT TRUCK, NOT the cars... BAHAHAHA

The valet was laughing when he brought me back my keys, it was a different guy but he said a few people walked over during the three hours and took pictures. I do not think any Prius owners will ever have stories like us :foff:

In Bob Lutz' book - he said he wanted to make Hummer a sub-brand of GMC; the powers that be overrode him and made them connect with Cadillac.... Bob was right - too bad, Hummer by GMC would still be around (sigh)

Wow, the last time I was chased down by a guy in a Ferrari he was pissed 'caused he caught me with his wife!

I was wheeling with my Jeep buddies in Utah and we stopped along the trail. One of the guys got out of his jeep and walked up to me in the deuce and said I needed to be careful not to scratch my pretty chrome mirrors. I simply pushed the power fold button and told him not to worry, they'll be fine. He uttered a groan after watching the mirrors fold in and couldn't say a word. It was hilarious.

I had my truck completely covered in mud one time. Well, okay maybe a few times. The only reason you knew it was white was because of the lift gate. A guy in a lifted jeep saw me coming up behind him on the freeway and moved to the next lane. Passed him and got a thumbs up. Later that night, a female friend wrote in the mud. "I wish my girlfriend was this dirty". You should have seen all the looks I got from that. Drive it for a few days like that

I kind of getting tired of people taking pics of H2, after we left Bishop and spent couple of days in Sierra every time we stopped at lookout point truck was getting flash mobbed by people with cameras.

But it does feels good:)

Got a few looks pulling my 23 ft travel trailer. In the back country of West Yellowstone saw a couple of guys in a Razer sweating in the dust while I passed them with the A/C on. They looked like "WTF":whaa: is he doing way out here. It is fun to people watch out of my tinted windows :)
