sunroof

I just noticed today that when driving down the road the sunroof does not close tight. This causes it to, "shudder" from the wind pressure. When stopped there is maybe a 1/4" inch of movement front and back. Tilt the back up and it doesn't seem to have any play in it at all. Open and close work perfectly both express and otherwise. Simple matter of adjustment or something more serious??? Don't see how it could possibly be worn out....forgot to mention it's a 2006 H2 SUT.

You probably already checked if its dirty up there huh? I clean that area almost monthly. I hate it when i see a bug or bee crawling around up there. I swear i think a bee crawled down one of my drain tubes.

Found this in the H3 service manual. It's for replacing the sunroof but may fix your problem. Ignition on, close sunroof with the manual close switch, press the vent open position switch and hold it for at least 10 seconds.

I know the motors can get weak and/or the gear can wear down and not lock in certain spots!
