Well here we go:

Back in early June, I was making my offroad course Eagles Nest Offroad Course. Well just before 'it' happened I was in the position as you see in my sig. picture with the H3 on two/three wheels. Well once I started to "head on" I came down ( dont know if it was hard or not at the time due to the airbags going off ), and BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the side curtain airbags went off. So the next day I took it to my very trusted Rapid Chevrolet Dealer. So ive been calling every week wanting to know whats going on! I believe 1-2 months later I finally get a call from the dealer saying that they finally had GM contact them and GM said they would send in a private investigator. So 1-2 weeks later I got a call from the Investigator, he hasnt even started to come to SD yet! He said he would be flying, and me interested in aviation, asked him what plane he would be flying. Of all things I believe he said he was flying a Phenom 100 Jet! For cheaper they could have fixed it! So after about 1-2 months more of waiting, I get another call and they said they wouldnt fix it, because it voids the warranty, and it voids the warranty because I was offroad, and I had a lift on the H3. My lift is actually a leveling kit for it from GM! So after that I take it to a body shop, and my insurance said they would cover it. So after about 1 month, It was finally fixed, and man I forgot how much I missed it! Im really glad I finally have it back.

Am I mad at my Dealer? NO

Am I mad at GM? YES

Sometime I wonder who is running that place, and why they market the Hummer as an off road beast when they dont cover it!

Oh well I glad I have it back!

GM has set new lows in customer service and retention activities. Can't even begin to guess how much in sales and profit their mishandling of Hummer, Saab and Pontiac owners has cost them. GM has to go to China for their sales becauses many, many Americans know better than to trust GM with their car buying decisions. GM doesn't stand behind their product like they should so we buy from those that will. I have owned a lot of vehicles and brands but I know I have bought over $500,000.00 worth of new GM product and I don't even know how much more on the used market. I will never buy another new GM product again. NEVER. And I can't even count the number of other people I know that feel the same way. GM $hit in their own nest and continue to remind all of us why we shouldn't buy from them again.

Their handling of the side airbag complaints has been awful. Your experience unfortunately sounds a lot like what I have heard several times in the past. I don't understand why they won't own up to the fact that they have a product issue that needs resolving.
