The RIGHT choice

Just sharing.

I've been driving the H3 for 7 years, first the I-5 and now the Alpha. I must say, I STILL LOVE driving this truck. Every time I get in the vehicle I''m glad I purchased it. I LOVE the way it handles on/off road, how it feels, the look, the nostalgia...can't think of one thing I don't like. I'm hoping the HUMMER comes back somehow. Til then, I will keep driving this truck for several years.

I feel the same way, on my 3rd hummer, 4th if you include the h2 we bought my girlfriend. Ive always owned the h3 and will keep buying them.

I had never kept a vehicle for 100,000 miles before this one and those other ones I was just looking for excuses to dump most of them. The only way I'm getting rid of this is by quietly swapping it with Bigunit's CE and hoping he doesn't notice for a while :whaa:

Absolutely concur. I have driven S10 sized Chevy/GMC/Oldsmobile SUV's since 1983 and have a real softspot for that size vehicle. Liked the Hummers from day one but had been considering a Jeep. The H2's were too big for what I was looking for. The H3's came out and it was game over for me. I enjoy driving this truck every day and hope it lasts for many years to come.

I'm a lifer in this truck as well. GM struck a balance with it between capability amd comfort. With the mods available, you can push it in one direction or the other without loosing out on the other aspect. "Like Nothing Else".

I agree. I have only owned one vehicle, which is this H3 but I have no intentions selling it. I may get a commuter one day but if the funds provide I will be a Dave. A few H1s a T and keep squeaky till she blows up.

I have driven my moms denali, dads volvo and brothers Jeep JK for weeks at a time in the past if I had a big project being done on the Hummer and the second I would drive the Hummer again it just felt right. Its a good balance of everything. It just wasnt the same when driving their vehicles. That is why the Hummer wont be for sale, its just right...and I have so much time and effort invested into the current one I am attached. Most of the mechanical things I know are from working on it and the memories are unforgettable. Its also outlasted a number of girlfriends too :huh: Maybe it has something to do with it rarely giving me attitude.
