Got my new Thor bumper arrived this week, and gonna install this weekend.
sorry this topic been gone through a lot, but I couldn't find any good old pic since the pic posting problem,
wanna know if anybody installed warn zeon /powerplant series winch w/Thor bumper, is there any fitment issue?
planning to get 10/12 depending on the price, since everything I need has to ordered from the states:no: but will get from work parts guy I have this weekend to make my final decision and let him know the winch I needed then order, I just need to pay their cost plus 10% (employee perk, lol)
anyway, any info would be great , also is my predator brushguard another winch fitment factor?
thanks in advance

Hey Ben. The Warn Zeon will require you to notch the chrome plastic grille. This is due to the control box that sits on top of it. There is a pic on the THORparts "installs" page. Warn makes a good product but the Zeon series is a very oddball size & shape. This makes it a tough install for compact setups like the H3. It can be done but it will require some improvisation.
FWIW...there are many winches for half the price that will destroy the Zeon...and they don't have the goofy fitment issues.
Predator BG should be fine.

Just finished doing doing the same. I have a Warn Zeon 10k and I had to notch the front grille to accommodate it. As you can see my OEM brush guard just fits, so I'm sure the predator will fit as well.

Okay...let's try a different method. I'll emailed the photo to my phone...saved it...then posted via Tapatalk. Maybe this will work....

That's how I have to do it but to make it even easier, just take the pic with your smart phone and eliminate the steps of having to email it to your self and saving it on your phone.

My photo "library" is on a 500 gig external hard drive. Many of the pix (like the one above) are sent to me via email from customers. I keep damn near everything so I can have reference for questions like this one.

For some reason...desktop support for photos has been dropped by Java, Mozilla, or some other software that I don't understand. Long story short...MOBILE uploads are un-affected. They must operate on a different set of rules because they seem to work fine. But older photos that were uploaded via a PC have been rendered useless. Its not just this forum...and its not just me. Its everything! Many websites suddenly have this problem that started about a month ago, and it must be tied to some sort of global browser update or something. The problem exists in Windows Internet Explorer AND Google Chrome. It also exists on all of my devices. So I think it is tied to one of those supporting softwares that nobody pays attention to (like Java). There is a lot of net-chatter about it...but nobody seems to be able to do anything to fix it.

Hey Ben, There were a buncha pics on page 11 from my install of Zeon 8/S. I'm on a laptop, no smart phone here and the pics are not comin up here on my end either. The notch was no big deal and still easy to get to the control pack. The Zeon is suppose to be there latest and greatest, I still never used mine yet but, I have it for when I do.
My rig is an 06 base, this is why I went w/ the 8/S and if I needed more, you can put block in the middle and it becomes a 16. Just something to think about if, a 10/12 is really needed. Your area and what your wheelin should tell you what you will need. I think the rule of thumb is 1 1/2 times your rigs weight, mostly mud.
Anyway, Hope this helps. Good luck. Also, if you need more pics maybe I could email them to you?

I'll check it out more from installs on the Thor website, I don't have chrome plastic anymore but since I screwed up the de chrome and paint of old grill, I decided order new one and get it done professional, that's why I wanna keep compromising new grill as minimum as possible

I am running the Harbor Freight Badland winch on mine. It is a tight fir for the controller box, but my body lift gave an additional inch to allow the controller to fit on top of the winch.
