Thinking about towing my 12' enclosed trailer(1200lbs) with a 500 lb motorcycle in it. I'll be driving about 5 hrs one way, do you think it will pull it ok? Use alot of fuel?

My '08 3.7 liter pulls my 2013 Race Prepped Rzr no problems. (about 3k lbs total between Trailer and Rzr).

The automatic is tow rated at 4500 pounds. You should be fine. Just keep in mind. We don't drive race cars.

It will pull it but not fast...

HA... it does just fine. I pulled a 81 diesel, 4x4 suburban on a 21' car trailer from Portland to Seattle. While it is mostly flat, about the only thing that was a bit puckerish was the construction zone at 60 (or perhaps a little faster). I think I got 11 towing.

Towing is drastically effected by tire size. 35" tires will equate to third gear hunting on even the slightest grade. I find it works best to put the AT down into third gear, and just sweat it out.

Just watch The Weather Channel and plan for a day you're pretty confident you'll have a good tail wind. You'll be fine. :)
