I'm looking into putting a truck, or maybe even a train horn, in cause it sounds weak in my opinion. anyway, I saw where the regular horn is, but wonderin if those long silver horns could fit somewhere. If anyones done this themselves help me out cause im not too keen on spending an arm and a leg to install a noise machine

If I remember correctly, there was a recent post about a plug and play horn from some model nissan that sounded alot better than Our stock horns. But another member will chime in with more information.

You can always do the old Delco 4-note horns. Pretty loud and sound like a train horn. Check my build thread for pics and a small vid of the sound.

Are you talking air horns? What exactly is a truck horn? I had always wanted train/semi air horns but I cannot justify the price of a compressor/tank/horn setup which is why I went the route I did.

Train horns are obnoxiously loud and truck horns are just regular horns. Or atleast thats what I think they are,

I installed dual electric air horns that I got through my sound guy, they are plug and play, but only if you install one, if you do two Like I did, you will need a relay to make them work! And the good thing about electric is that it's continuous sound for as long as you keep the horn button pressed on the steering wheel, unlike regular air horns that the compressor shoots air in, but as soon as it drains, it will stop blowing, so you have to release the horn to have it refill and blow sound again. I will try to find out who they are made by, if anyone is interested.
