Upgrade to Alpha.... to adventure package or no?

I also have both and I drive both daily (gave my wife the I5). An I5 with 32s and ibtake mod gets off the line the same as my modded V8 (runnin 35s, slightly heavier wheels, sliders and lots of performance mods). However after Im running 25mph, the V8 is much more driveable (when I play with the throttle there is so much torque at hand while the I5 just becomes extremely loud!)

The 3.7L reminds me more of a Jeep with the 4.0L. Good low RPM torque, but not a load of HP say trying to pass someone quickly. Where the Alpha is like ok, the torque kicks in and you blow past em...

When I first got my Alpha it was right at the very end of Spring, and the clutch fan bogged it down pretty good on stop n go traffic. Now that it's gone I have zero lag/bogging in stop n go traffic.
