The nearby Cottonwood Fire is getting a bit more press. All the hotels in Beaver, UT were booked by firefighters as was most of Cedar City. A couple of hours earlier the smoke in SLC was so dense I thought I was going through Riverside, CA! At 5 pm it looked like late dusk and you could not see the mountains.
