Which Winch Mount?

Hey guys.... I'm thinking of adding a 12K winch to my 97 wagon. I've seen a lot of universal mounts that need to be modified but nothing for the H1. What are you all using that will bolt right up? Do all winches have the same bolt pattern and will mount on any mount?
The forum has plenty of H3 mounts info out there. There has to be more H1 mounts....

Best winch is the Warn that AMG put on the truck. You will also need to upgrade the front springs. Almost all of my H1s have had the 12K Warn winch. I have one without a winch( from the factory and it does have a better approach angle ) and one Mile Marker 12K. The Mile Marker works well and actually sits back a little bit more than the Warn so the approach angle is slightly better but I would pick the Warn everytime if I were going to add one to a non-winch truck.

Does Warn have a mount made for AMG or are you using a universal? Does it bolt up to the frame pretty well?
Do all winch mounts have the same hole pattern for about any winch manufacturer?
Why the upgraded front springs? the extra weight generated from a pull???
