Winch bumper options in 2025

OK. I'm due for some updates. Like the title says, looking for what my options are in the current climate.

I'm at the stage in life that between time and money, I have money and no time. I've contemplated trying to DIY something but realistically, i don't have the time to spend doing it. I have a CB photo winch mount which has been off the rig for a few years now and an OEM brush guard that is chrome underneath and in need of a fresh repaint in black.

The plastic bumper is now a liability as I think it makes more rattling noise than the 4BT rattling away behind it. Time to make a move. I can't do a hidden winch because I have some custom A/C hoses routed through that area and also have an intercooler and custom A/C condenser further forward than the OEM setup. I don't think any of this will interfere with anything I could bolt on.

I know CJ keeps a few Thor parts bumpers in stock and hit him up over a year ago about them and didn't make a move. Move makes a DIY weld your own that I don't think I will make time for in the near future. Any other options that are out there that are recommended? Probably just looking for front for now and get my winch bolted back on. I don't have any wheeling in the near future planned but maybe if I get my act together, that could change.

Can vouch for the Thor bumper, great construction and has handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far.

Also, looks great

If you're willing to keep the stock bumper, I installed the steelcraft brushguard with built in winchmount (Steelcraft 50280WM) that I purchased on Amazon for a little over $500. I like the idea of being able to access the winch easily in case I need to check electrical connections or the rope as opposed to a hidden winch. I off-road at AOAA and Rausch Creek in PA and have winched myself and others from some rough spots. I've pushed over some small trees (4in) with the guard with only some scuffs on the guard paint. I'm happy with the durability of the set-up.
Just wanted to share another option.

CJ is that the last of current stock or the last of them period?

I really want to replace the whole bumper because the diesel has shaken everything loose on the stock plastic one.

I just put a new one on my rig. Sold the old one to a guy in PA (it got dirty). I have one more remaining on the shelf. The last one.
