Update.. I have been back and fourth on this because of cost.. And not having OEM springs..
I have decided to pursue the Chevy spring conversion for reasons such as being different and upgrading to a more common spring.. I will go ahead and upgrade the driveshaft etc..
If I crash and burn I will hopefully purchase a pair of springs from O6H3.. The way i see it, if the chevy springs dont work i will ise them for the BeBe mod so win win... will keep y'all updated..

TAPDH3T, I'm in Lafayette, LA. Which is about 4.5 hours from Texarkana. I can sell you my stock leaf springs. They have about 70k miles on them. I don't know the going rate for used H3 leaf springs but PM a fair offer if you want to drive down and pick them up.

05Mudiak, Sure thing. If he doesn't want them, you're second inline for em. I don't plan on using them. If and when sagging does occur on my Rancho lift I'm going the air bag route.

Rick, You could put an add a leaf on them to assist with more lift and help with more payload capacity

You don't have to pull the tank to take off the leaf spring.

True. Just cut the head off the leaf-spring bolt with a saw-zall and pull it out from the outboard side. Then when you put the new bolt back in...install it from the outboard side first, with the nut on the inboard end. That way you can pull the bolt at anytime in the future without the saw-zall. Its a goofy GM assembly-line thang, and doing the SOA is a perfect time to correct the issue.

Not sure what he did, but my friend used the stock hanger and drilled a new hole higher up then trimmed the bottom.

Wish me luck the deal goes through so I can putting baby in a great nieborhood with more workspace.. Meanings my lil girl and my truck lol.. Sad part is I will be moving a few miles across state lines in AR.. Texans don't shun me I will be less then a mile on the other side of the line.. As long as you're still claiming TX in your profile, that's all that matters.
