Looks cool from the front but that rear gap and the side view is horrific.

That's a whole lotta body lift. I like how they were able to move up the bumpers. And love the 37's. I wish someone would make a 6" lift for the H3. It sucks we are so limited.

What tires are those? The only 37s I ever was able to find for the stock wheels were superswampers. Custom front and rear bumpers with custom rock sliders and that would be kick ass

Yea. Our options for big tires are 345/75/16 km2 365/75/16 km2 (37 and 38) 37x12.5x16 iroks 385/70/16 mud grappler (38) there's a few more I think

They didn't. That's why it has those huge gaps between the body and the bumpers. Custom bumpers or some filler panels would do the trick.

No question...the H3 does look great with big tires! Shame on GM for giving us all that gorgeous wheel-well but, no machinery to drive them. -LOL

I'll bite my tongue on 3" body lifts, but it does look great with 37's!

I'd do this if it wouldn't kill my I5 and tranny........ I take a 150 mile one way trip pulling a trailer and atv with gear several times a year, with rolling hills I'm sure one would die sooner than later.

But why go 3" BL if a 1" BL will fit a 37"?

Well besides the fact that with the right bumpers and sliders it would look so much cooler and be at the height it should have come from the factory, on one of my H3s I had 315 tires at stock height and after getting a lil airborne, the tire grabbed the fender and ripped it off my H3. Like the entire plastic front fender that is held into the sheetmetal with plastic push pins. So while 37s will fit with a 1" bodylift, I would rather have the extra 2" of clearance.

Makes perfect sense haha

I just don't like it when you can see too much frame, but sliders would take good care of that!

Its funny with the H3 alot of people are concerned about too much frame being exposed, the H3 is unique in that the body almost completely covers the frame. Look at any of the fullsize trucks and several other make suvs and they show 3/4 to the full amount of the frame from the factory.

So, how did you alter the front bumper mount with the body lift? I like how the gap is between the bumper plastic and tow-hook area. I did a 1" body lift on mine and hate where the gap is located.

Does it have wheel spacers? Why?

Good point...i figured since it was lifted he'd need spacers....but then it dawned on me that a body lift does not alter angles like rancho/tuff country does.

Carry on...

I really like the looks of this truck and that Gap seems like a good opening for Schwartzy hidden winch set up or something else or just cover it like this person did...perhaps some led light bars.
