AGHHHHHHHH. WHAT THE HECK. I just texted them, seller says they are sold. THIS IS SO UNFAIR :gaah:. I reached out to the seller back when the owner was selling the truck with the doors and I asked if they would sell them to me and they said no. I offered them $600. Lol JPAUL you posted about it: http://www.hummer4x4offroad.com/forum/showthread.php?12985-H3-for-sale-in-Moab&highlight=tube+doors

Scroll down and read my comment lol. I could of had'em too. They seller texted me back and said that she was looking for my number, but could not find it because of a new phone. AGHHH! Good News though, the seller said that they will get in touch with the shop who made it for them to see if he has the CAD file and can make more. No promises, but we might have a supplier boys.

Kudos to whoever found them! I only look at KSL every few months so there is no way I would have saw them when they were posted.

Please don't shoot...I am now the proud owner of these doors, picked them up this past Saturday :). I'm hoping to get them on this week/weekend and will post some pics.

When I picked them up I too asked for the fab shops info cause they mentioned a CAD file. I'll ask again for this info if I don't hear any updates but I know the seller was building a house in Moab so I don't expect a follow up to our convo to be on the top of their minds lol.

Btw, if I can take some detailed pics/measurements that will help, or if anyone knows a shop in SLC, UT that I can drop them by to get measurements needed let me know. I'll also be in Moab in Oct, hopefully rocking these doors, so if stopping by with these doors out there makes it easier I can also do that :).

It's all good! It proabably worked out better for the seller since you are local. Hopefully I can get some built for my H3. From what I know, I think you are the second person that is known to have tube doors, behind Bebe (Correct me if I am wrong on that on guys). But yeah if you can take some general pics that would be great! Curoius to see how the door handles work too.

Sorry for the late update. I put the doors on last weekend and have been loving them since, although we got some rain this past week that kept me on my toes. I took the dogs out for the first time with these doors and they loved it as well. Definitely still need some work to make them perfect and I ran into some unexpected problems, such as the after market stereo not turning off until the doors are opened lol

The stereo isn't supposed to turn off until the doors are opened. Or after ten minutes or some timeframe like that. If it was turning off as soon as you turned the key off then something was wrong.

Ah, I thought it was an after market stereo thing but sounds like that's how it works stock. I keep my stereo turned off right now since the sound with only tweeters and the sub isn't enjoyable, plus all the wind noise drowns out the music anyway. Aside from the stereo I'd also like to trim the front doors slightly so that I can keep the eom back doors on, the current fabrication has the front doors 1" too long and requires installing all 4 doors. I'm also looking into some safari nets, plexiglass, and/or aluminum panels for the doors. I like the idea of a plexiglass with some non-conductive, UV resistance, etc. coatings so that I can still see through the doors for increased visibility off road. I'll get some pics posted soon, tried the other day but had some problems uploading them through this site.

Yep you really can't use you radio with the doors off. Lol I like to take my doors off whenever I can. I am thinking of putting in some type of aftermarket sound system so I can still enjoy music with the doors off. Nothing too fancy or over the top, just somthing loud enough to hear. If I were to do it, I would probably use marine-grade speakers so they are waterproof, since mud/dust/water is bound to get inside the truck.

I currently keep a set of headphones with me most the time in case I have to answer a call or will sometimes throw on ear bud in for some light tunes, but most the time I find myself listening to the outdoor noise and those coming from my vehicle. Surprisingly my truck is a pretty quiet ride, especially for a 12 year old vehicle and taken on moab trails.
