It is amazing how such a simple idea has;

1) not been thought of and executed before
2) Generated as much interest as it has.

Very cool.

Just shows what other things can be thought of and a great idea!

I met with a seamstress today and will be dropping off the materials to have a professional piece made on saturday. Hopefully I can firm up a price next week. Thanks for the support guys!

That must of been exciting...........

It was until I ended up in a hospital with 100+ fevers and loss of muscle functions due to one of those critters bitting me.

Built the spring steel frame for the front last night. Tomorrow morning will be sewing the material together to finish the front prototype before dropping of at the shop in the afternoon.

I will try to get pics up soon, unfortunately the prices we are getting for a set of 4 (2 front, 2 back) will make it tough to justify actually selling. The cheapest we could sell them for is like $140-150 for a complete set of 4. I'm sorry, I really was hoping I could get the shop to work with us more on pricing. I really had hoped we could get the pricing to a point that people would be interested in buying them.

I am sure there would still be some interest, maybe just not as much. For the people that use their trucks for camping and hunting the screen idea is very appealing

Well we used the window screens on our three day company trip this past weekend and I must say that I wish they were a factory option. The horse flies were so bad in southern NH so it was great having the screens in to talk to the spotter outside with out pesky visitors. When we camped at night we popped the screens back in and had a nice cool breeze without moths or biting bugs. Hope to get some pics up soon.
