H3 Air bag deployment problem

What exactly are you signing for? Have been through this before with other issues with GM and stepping up to fix stuff. Might just be authorizing the repairs. But then again? Never know. Have never seen this. Although it could be a release to if it happens again. Keep us posted

I just got a call from the worthless lady I talked to yesterday. Now she says she screwed up and the release is not needed. My case is being transferred back to the original person that was working my case and they will just authorize the repairs without the bs paperwork. I'm going crazy. Oh, and they have up to 48 hours to contact me!

I talked to my gm rep and she is calling the dealership right now to tell them to fix my hummer no questions asked. Finally!!

Same thing happened to me, did an easy sand trail close to home with a few other 4x4's, went up a little dune at slow speed straight up no angle and bam the curtain airbags deployed for no reason at all.

Sorry to hear that kane. I would try and go through with the same process Kyle and Fru went through. This is bull****...Its happening to everyone. I sure am glad I dont have side airbags, I say that now...I am sure my answer will change if I get T boned.

Thanks 06, luckily GM agreed to pay, still waiting for the parts though, will definitely pull the fuse next time I go wheeling as this was not a pleasant experience but I still love my H and will not easily part with her!

nice!! i marked the fuse and the fuse location with a silver sharpie its perfect for night because it reflects really well so if you dont have a light its easier to find!
